By boat & bike & in Denmark and Sweden - wind, waves, sea air - on this trip you will get to know the most diverse facets of the two kingdoms. With the barkentine Atlantis you sail along the coasts of the Öresund and set course for historic harbours, small villages and remarkable cities. By bike you cycle along seashores and inland and also explore the islands of Ven and Møn. You are welcome to join in the sailing, it is not required; experience is not necessary either.

Day 1 Arrival in Copenhagen
Welcome to the city of the Little Mermaid. Embarkation at 5:30 pm, after dinner on board briefing about the ship and the trip.

Day 2 Sailing, round trip Helsingør, ca. 45 km/28 mi
You sail along the shores of the northern Öresund to Helsingør. From there you explore the "Danish Riviera" and the inland with its pretty castles and manor houses by bike. Overnight stay in the impressive harbour town of Helsingør.

Day 3 Sailing, Helsingborg - Landskrona, ca. 28 km/17 mi
In the morning we weigh anchor and set course for one of the most innovative cities in Europe - Helsingborg. On the Swedish side of the Öresund you cycle along the coast of the province of Skåne to the fortress town of Landskrona.

Day 4 Sailing, round trip on Ven, ca. 15 km/9 mi, sailing
The island of Ven is the first sailing destination of the day. By dinghy you go ashore on the only 7.5 km² large "Jewel of the Öresund". Enjoy a café or whisky on this island of artists and scientists. In the afternoon, hoist the sails again to set course for Malmö.

Day 5 Round trip Malmö, ca. 20 km/12 mi, sailing
Historical charm meets spiral skyscrapers - that is Malmö. Explore the charming contrasts before the longest sailing tour of the trip awaits you. The island of Mön is the destination located in the southern Öresund.

Day 6 Round trip Møn, ca. 30 km/19 mi, sailing
The impressive chalk cliff Møns Klint is the first destination of the day, then the small castle of Møn awaits you.

Day 7 Rødvig - Køge, ca. 37 km/23 mi, sailing
Get on your bike for the last time and cycle through the hilly landscape to medieval Køge, where the Atlantis is already waiting for you in the harbour. Back on board you sail to the historic city centre of Copenhagen.

Day 8 Disembarkation and departure
After breakfast your tour with bike & ship in Denmark and Sweden ends with the Barkentine Atlantis.

Rental bicycles:

  • We offer comfortable unisex-bikes with 7-speed/freewheel, equipped with a bike bag and a bike lock. We also offer e-bikes if desired. For reasons of space, it is unfortunately not possible to bring your own bikes.
  • If you choose to wear a helmet, we recommend using your own due to the variety of head sizes and shapes and for hygienic reasons.

  • Minimum number of participants: 10. This tour can be cancelled by the provider up to 30 days prior to its commencement. If this is the case, we will strive to supply our customers with an equivalent offer.

Arrival to "Boat & Bike - Denmark & Sweden":

  • Arrival by car:
    Free parking a little further out, e.g. at Krimsvej and Tovelillevej. From there, take the metro (line M2) to Kongens Nytorv St. The station is a few minutes' walk from the pier.
    Vesterport multi-storey car park: day ticket: approx. 31 €, 550 m to Copenhagen Central Station.
  • Arrival by train:
    Københavns Hovedbanegård, by bus (line 26) to the pier, duration approx. 10 min, cost approx. 4 €.
    By taxi from the central station to the pier, cost approx. 20 € per vehicle.
  • Arrival by plane:
    Copenhagen Airport, by metro (line M2, towards Vanløse st.) to Kongens Nytorv St. (approx. 15 min, approx. 4 €). From there a few minutes walk to the pier.
    By taxi from the airport to the pier, cost approx. 45 € per vehicle.

Personal bikes:
As space is limited, it will not be possible to bring your own bike/e-bike on this tour.

Perfectly looked after:
During your tour, we are available between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
