On the cycle tour "Rhine & Moselle by Boat & Bike", follow the winding course of the river through small wine villages and well-known towns, with defiant castles, impressive collegiate churches and imposing fortresses rising up to the left and right. Taste the much-praised wines directly from the winegrowers and be amazed by the scenic beauty before arriving in the vibrant university city of Koblenz again.

Day 1 Arrival in Coblenz
Embarkation at 2 pm, followed by a boat trip to St. Goar in the UNESCO World Heritage Upper Middle Rhine Valley.

Day 2 St. Goar - Rüdesheim, ca. 30 km/19 mi 
Castles are not only found on the heights, but also on and in the Rhine. Hopefully you will pass the rock of the beguilingly alluring Loreley unscathed.

Day 3 Rüdesheim - Mainz, 35-43 km/22-27 mi
Well-known and lesser-known wineries are on the way to Mainz, the capital of printing and the state capital. Visit the blue stained glass windows by Chagall in St Stephen's or the fascinating Gutenberg Museum

Day 4 St. Goar - Oberlahnstein, 30-45 km/28 mi
Take the boat to St. Goar, where today’s stage begins. You can opt to take the cable car or the Hunsrück Railway up to the top. A visit to Marksburg Castle is well worth it.

Day 5 Lehmen - Cochem, approx. 40 km/25 mi
In the morning, the boat will take you across the Deutsches Eck to the Moselle. Then you cycle to the famous hilltop castle of Eltz from the 12th century, which has never been destroyed and has been magnificently preserved.

Day 6 Cochem - Zell, approx. 50 km/31 mi
From Cochem with its famous Reichsburg castle you cycle to Zell, with its beautiful market square.P op into the Baroque pilgrimage town of Beilstein to take a look at the Black Madonna.

Day 7 Lehmen - Coblenz, approx. 20 km / 12 mi
There is a short boat trip in the morning, followed by a short cycle tour to Koblenz. In the afternoon and evening there is plenty of time to explore the city with its 13 museums, 3 castles and the Ehrenbreitstein fortress. Why not enjoy the evening in the wine village of Coblenz.

Day 8 Departure 
After breakfast your tour "Rhine & Moselle by Boat & Bike" unfortunately comes to an end. Disembarkation at 9.30 a.m.

Rental bicycles:

• We offer comfortable unisex-bikes with 7-speed gearboxes/coaster brakes or freewheel, equipped with a bike bag and a bike lock. We also offer e-bikes if desired.
• If you choose to wear a helmet, we recommend using your own due to the variety of head sizes and shapes and for hygienic reasons.

The booking process

Arrival to "Rhine & Moselle by Boat & Bike":

• Arrival by car
  - public carpark close to the Schiffslände, price: approx. 140 € / week
  - free parking on park & ride carparks outside the city centre, take the bus to the boat

• Arrival by train:
  Koblenz train station

• Arrival by plane:
  Airport Frankfurt, by train to Koblenz Hbf, every half hour, duration approx. 1,5 hours, 1x change, normal price approx. 35 €

• On the day of arrival, you can leave your luggage on board the ship from 11.00 am.

Personal bikes:
In principle, you can bring your own bike along. However, please note that your bike will be loaded on and off the boat twice a day along with several others and therefore slight cosmetic damage to individual bikes cannot be ruled out, which is why we do not take responsibility or liability for such damage. We recommend reserving one of the excellent rental bikes we offer.

Perfectly looked after:
During your tour, we are available between 8 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
