Day 1 Arrival in Passau
Passau’s historic centre has a very distinct mediterranean flair about it. Embarkation up to approx. 5.30 p.m.. Sail by night.

Day 2 Schlögen - Linz, 56 km/35 mi, sail by night
Bike handover at the Schlögen river bend, then you will cycle through the romantic Danube valley. See the Willhering monastery and the state capital Linz.

Day 3 Tulln - Vienna, 31-49 km/19-30 mi, sail by night
Easy bike tour around the Vienna Woods, to Vienna via Klosterneuburg. Lots of nature, a famous monastery and the metropolis await you. 

Day 4 Komárno - Esztergom, 56 km/35 mi
The cycle tour leads past the Kelemantia Roman fort to Štúrovo. A visit to Esztergom Cathedral is well worthwhile. Evening boat trip to magnificently illuminated Budapest.

Day 5 Budapest and bike tour, 22-55 km/14-34 mi, sail by night
Explore Budapest by bike, cycle to Margaret Island or book a 3-hour bus tour. Active cyclists can set off for the artists' village of Szentendre. Departure at around 6 p.m.

Day 6 Bratislava, 40 km/25 mi, sail by night
After a tour of the old town, you cycle to the cultural island of Meulensteen. Return to the ship.

Day 7 Krems - Marbach, 53 km/33 mi, sail by night
Today you will cycle through the famous Wachau area and see the magnificent Abbey Melk. Try apricot-jam and -schnapps.

Day 8 Passau and departure
Around 10 a.m. we will be arriving in Passau where this tour "By boat and bike to Budapest" concludes.

Rental bicycles:

• We offer comfortable unisex-bikes with 7-speed gearboxes and coaster brakes or 21-gears and freewheel systems, equipped with a bike bag and a bike lock. We also offer e-bikes if desired.
• If you choose to wear a helmet, we recommend using your own due to the variety of head sizes and shapes and for hygienic reasons.

• Arrival in Passau via train:
  From the railway station to the berth Passau-Lindau it is about 4 kilometers. Transfer included, departure approx. 4.30 p.m.
  Alternatively by bus no.1 or 3, departure at the bus station (ZOB).

• Arrival at Munich airport:
  Distance to Passau approx. 160 km, excellent train connections, journey takes approx. 2.5 hours.

• Embarkation is possible from 2.30 p.m.

Personal bikes:
You can always take your own bike with you. Please note, however, that your bike will be loaded twice a day with many others on and off the ship and damage can not be ruled out. A liability for this can not be assumed. We advise you to book one of the good rental bikes.

Perfectly looked after:
During your tour, we are available between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., 7 days a week. We are happy to help with any kind of problems you might be having. You will find this emergency number in your travel documents.
